Genoa centre-back Emiliano Moretti has chosen to ignore reports linking him with a move to Inter in January.
The treble winners have an injury crisis at the back and are looking to reinforce when the transfer window opens again.
Last week, reports emerged claiming that Inter boss Rafa Benitez had given the green light to open talks for the former Valencia defender.
Interviewed on Radio Nostalgia, Moretti said: "I know what I know from what I read in newspapers.
"I am only thinking about carving out as much space as possible for me in a team with good players and that is Genoa.
"The rest is just chatter," he concluded.
