Domenico Criscito is the latest Genoa player to be associated with a move to Italian champions Inter.
After being linked with Andrea Ranocchia – who they already co-own – and Emiliano Moretti, Criscito is now being talked about as a possible January target for the Nerazzurri.
According to whispers, instead of signing a centre-back to cover for the injured Walter Samuel, Inter are pondering the acquisition of a left-back.
As a result, that would allow current full-back Cristian Chivu to be converted into a central defender – a position which he prefers.
Criscito, who Juventus sold to Genoa, is enjoying another fine campaign after his showings for Italy at the 2010 World Cup Finals.
However, Inter are not alone in their admiration for the talent given that he does have another European giant tracking him.
Bayern Munich have consistently been linked with Criscito since the summer, although rumours of a €14m bid have yet to be confirmed.
