Juventus boss Antonio Conte is satisfied with his side's efforts as they ended their pre-season tour of America with a win over Chivas.
Fabio Quagliarella scored the only goal as Juve recovered from a loss against Sporting Lisbon to record two victories – the other coming against Club America.
"It has been positive," the new tactician noted. "We have played against sides of international value.
"We are recovering players like Paolo De Ceglie and Fabio Quagliarella after their injuries, while I am also seeing a character that leaves me hopeful for the future."
On this morning's 1-0 win over Chivas, the former Bari and Siena boss saw glimpses of the football he is looking for.
"There was some good build-up play which entertained the fans and allowed us to create scoring opportunities," the tactician added.
"I think the boys are enthusiastic about playing this brand of football.
"We still have a lot of work to do, there are sacrifices to be made and the road ahead is long, but with desire we can achieve some important things."
Conte plays a ball possession 4-4-2 system which requires the wide midfielders to vigorously attack and defend.
