Maarten Stekelenburg is losing patience with Roma, as talks over the Ajax goalkeeper's transfer hit problems. “There's no clarity from either side.”
The two clubs have been locked in negotiations for several weeks, but the €8m move is continually delayed.
“At this moment we are working on it and are counting on fixing the problem soon,” agent Fabio Parisi insisted. “It's nothing that cannot be resolved.”
However, Stekelenburg himself vented his frustration to Dutch website soccernews.nl.
“The deal has not been concluded yet. There's no clarity from either side,” moaned the goalkeeper.
“For now I am in Amsterdam and part of the Ajax squad. I am therefore completely concentrated on the Dutch Super Cup game against Twente.”
