| Bari close to new owner |

American businessman Tim Barton will become Bari’s owner by November as he is set to purchase the club from the Matarrese family.
The Texan investor has been chasing this opportunity for a long time now and the fans are eager to see him complete the negotiations.
“We will be in charge starting from next month,” revealed Barton.
“The contract we agreed is set that way but we may be in charge even sooner,” he added following a meeting in Milan.
According to Italian reports, Barton’s assistant and negotiator Alessio Mora asked for a discount on the club’s price tag.
Barton and Mora are expected in Puglia tomorrow where they will meet up with Salvatore Matarrese [pictured] to discuss the last details regarding the deal.
