Walter Mazzarri says there are not as many repercussions in English football as there are in Italy.

“We are very happy with the success against Manchester United,” Mazzarri said to Radio Anch’io lo Sport.

“It gives continuity to the performances we have had up until now. It also improves the self-esteem of our players.

Mazzarri off the mark with Watford

Walter Mazzarri has bagged his first win as Coach of English Premier League side Watford.

The 54-year-old, previously in charge of Inter and Napoli, had won just one point in his first three matches as Vicarage Road boss but presided over an impressive 4-2 victory at West Ham on Saturday.

Two goals by Michail Antonio initially put Mazzarri’s team two goals down, but strikes by Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney, Etienne Capoue and Jose Holebas marked a memorable comeback for the Hornets.
