Raiola: ‘Balotelli not a surprise’

Mino Raiola insists Mario Balotelli’s form for Milan is “not a surprise” and discusses Sir Alex Ferguson.

The agent represents Balotelli, Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic - among others - and discussed the Italian striker following his goal against Udinese last night.

“It wasn’t a surprise for me,” Raiola told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Mario’s quality has never been in question. The important thing is his attitude.

Raiola: ‘United didn’t believe in Pogba’

Paul Pogba’s agent says Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t “believe” in the midfielder - “even great managers make mistakes”.

The Frenchman left Manchester United to join Juventus on a free transfer in 2012, and has since gone on to become one of the most highly-rated young players in the world.

In his new book ‘Leading’, Ferguson names Raiola as one of the few agents he dislikes, naming him as the reason the midfielder left.

Mancini: 'Inter return was daft'

Roberto Mancini admits returning to Inter was “daft,” he didn’t expect to be fired in 2008 and is a little “jealous” of Jose Mourinho’s Treble.

The Nerazzurri Coach already won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia during his first spell from 2004 to 2008, so it was a surprise when he accepted a comeback to replace Walter Mazzarri in November 2014.

“I was waiting for a call from abroad more than a return to Italy,” Mancio told Gazzetta TV.

Ferguson: 'I'd sell Pogba'

Sir Alex Ferguson told Tuttosport that Juventus “should sell Paul Pogba” for €100m.

The former Manchester United manager famously let a teenage Pogba’s contract expire and within months he’d become a superstar in Turin.

Now the midfielder is believed to be worth €100m and at the centre of a bidding war between Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Turin-based paper Tuttosport claim they spoke to Fergie as he attended Wimbledon with his family and was asked about Juve.
