Milan ultras confronted their players after a 2-1 loss against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico which determined their elimination from the Europa League quarter-finals.

The Rossoneri suffered a second consecutive defeat against their Serie A rivals Roma and were eliminated from the Europa League quarter-finals with a 3-1 aggregate result.

Milan players went under the away end after the final whistle and were confronted by angry fans who, according to Rai, blamed them for losing the ‘most important game of the season.’

Milan have another key fixture next week: they’ll meet Inter in Serie A. They must avoid defeat to prevent their city rivals from mathematically winning the Scudetto.

  1. To those who consider Leao is one of the best players today, well … take a look at Milan whole squad. Mostly are overrated (like Leao) and mediocre. Only Theo, Maignan & Tomori are worthy. Il capitano Calabria can’t even cement his place in Azzurri starting line-up. Yes, Pioli is not a good coach, but is not horrible either. With current squad, not even Ancelotti or Guardiola can bring Milan back to the top. And esp not Conte, coz he’s full of complains & will blame anyone but himself.
