“It was a good test,” Allegri said of the encounter at Australia’s MCG. “I saw a good Juventus for 60 minutes, then we suffered but not too much.

“It was important to see the physical, tactical and technical condition of the squad.

Allegri: ‘Doubts over line-up’

Max Allegri admits he still has “some doubts” over Juventus’ line-up for the Derby della Mole.

The Bianconeri face Torino tomorrow, and currently lie three points behind their city rivals.

“What do we have to do to save our season?” Allegri considered in his pre-match Press conference.

“Rise up the table. We can’t say ‘we’ve arrived, we’ve arrived’ after every game. We have to get through in the Champions League, with two decisive games. That’s the first goal.

Roma march on, Juventus out of excuses

The 2015/2016 season might be the one ruled by AS Roma, while Juventus find themselves in a true crisis situation, writes Vincent Van Genechten.

It had been a while since the Giallorossi were on top of the Serie A table, and Rudi Garcia’s side are not planning on letting it slip anytime soon. They defeated Udinese pretty easily, going up 2-0 after just nine minutes and never looking back, winning 3-1.

The Bianconeri lost to Sassuolo last night, their fourth defeat in 10 Serie A games, but the former full-back, who won the Champions League with the Old Lady, is sure they’ll be back.

“It’s difficult to pinpoint a single reason for the crisis facing Juventus in this first part of the season,” Torricelli admitted in an interview with Calciomercato.

‘Ignore Dybala price-tag’

Massimiliano Allegri won’t be pressured into picking Paulo Dybala for Juventus - “it’s not my problem if they paid €40m.”

Although the forward has played the most minutes of all the Bianconeri attackers, others have been injured, with the former Palermo man often benched when all strikers are fit.

The 21-year-old was in the starting line-up for the win over Atalanta, scoring one and setting up another, but the Coach has no problem dropping him to the bench again.
