Cannavaro 'asked for Kalinic'

Tianjin Quanjian Coach Fabio Cannavaro ‘asked for’ Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, admits the club’s owner.

It is now believed that the Chinese Super League side will bid €38m for the Croatian, which is €12m below the release clause stipulated in his contract.

A recent change in league rules designed to reduce ‘irrational investments’ has decreased the number of foreign players allowed in each squad to three, but the President’s statements hint that the club still want Kalinic.

Falcao: 'Totti deserved Ballon d'Or'

Roma legend Paulo Roberto Falcao believes it’s time they won the Scudetto and “Francesco Totti deserved the Ballon d’Or.”

The Brazilian forward remains a fan of the Giallorossi after starring for the club from 1980 to 1985.

“When I first arrived in Rome, the welcome from 5,000 was so passionate that it felt like still being in Brazil,” Falcao told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.

Rossoneri eye Ibra alternatives

If PSG won’t release Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan consider alternatives Ezequiel Lavezzi, Karim Benzema, Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie.

The Rossoneri have a deal in place for Jackson Martinez, paying Porto the €35m clause in his contract, but want another star striker.

Ibra was confirmed as a target, but Paris Saint-Germain do not seem intent on letting the Swede go for less than €10m.

Mandzukic tops post-Tevez list

If Carlos Tevez does return to Boca Juniors, Juventus will get one from Mario Mandzukic, Robin van Persie, Edinson Cavani and Radamel Falcao.

Tevez is a lifelong Boca fan and confirmed he will end his career in Buenos Aires, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll wait until his contract expires in June 2016.

According to Tuttosport, Juve are increasingly irritated by the saga and want a definitive answer by next week.

Milan offer Ancelotti €150m kitty

Spanish and Italian papers claim Milan are offering Carlo Ancelotti a €150m transfer fund, as his Real Madrid exit is sealed.

Ancelotti is said to have discussed terms with President Florentino Perez on Friday and the patron is expected to confirm the news to the Board today.

Rather than a sacking just one year after winning the Champions League, Ancelotti will terminate his contract by mutual consent.

This makes him a free agent and Milan seem determined to bring him back to San Siro, where he won everything as a player and a Coach.

Mr Bee brings Falcao to Milan?

It’s reported Milan will target Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao from Monaco after Bee Taechaubol’s investment.

The meeting for the club’s sale happened this morning at the Park Hyatt Milano with patron Silvio Berlusconi.

However, Berlusconi said “there is a possibility I will keep 51 per cent” of the club, so it would be a heavy investment rather than a takeover.

'No Man Utd decision on Falcao'

Monaco announced Manchester United “have not yet decided” whether to take up their option on Juventus target Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian striker joined on loan and has scored only four Premier League goals, so a departure would seem likely.

“I saw the Manchester United people last Sunday and they have not yet decided if they would exercise the option,” Monaco Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev told Nice-Matin newspaper.

Juve ask Monaco for Falcao

Juventus face Monaco tonight, but have reportedly used a lunch meeting to discuss Radamel Falcao.

The two sides clash in the Champions League quarter-final and, as is customary, the hosting club took the visiting directors out for lunch.

It is rumoured the Juve chiefs used this opportunity to ask for information about Falcao, who seems unlikely to make his loan permanent at Manchester United.

The Colombian is still owned by Monaco and Juventus have repeatedly been linked with a similar loan deal.

Juve consider Falcao swoop

Juventus could use the Champions League quarter-final with Monaco to discuss Radamel Falcao, who won’t remain at Manchester United.

This isn’t the first time that Juve have been linked with Falcao, who was a target before he opted to go on loan to Old Trafford.

The Colombian international is due to return to Monaco at the end of the season and Tuttosport claim Juve directors Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta will use the Champions League to talk business.
