Torino secure Vives and Masiello

Torino extended the Giuseppe Vives contract and brought back Salvatore Masiello.

The Granata made the double announcement this afternoon on their club website.

Midfielder Vives has put pen to paper on an extension to July 2016, by which point he will be 36.

Masiello out for two months

Torino have announced that left-back Salvatore Masiello is set to miss the next two months of the season through injury.

The 32-year-old injured suffered a muscular tendon injury in his right-leg during the warm-up before his side’s derby with Juventus on Sunday.

“Tests this this morning on Salvatore Masiello have confirmed a muscle tendon injury to his right leg,” read a statement on Toro’s website
