Inter have reportedly reached an agreement with Sassuolo for Domenico Berardi ahead of a summer move to San Siro.
With talk of owners Suning ready to invest €150m in the forthcoming transfer window, Corriere dello Sport reports that the Nerazzurri have agreed terms with their counterparts after lengthy talks.
The 22-year-old has struggled to recapture his form this term after a lengthy injury layoff, having scored just once since August.
With the inclusion of 23-year-old Gianluca Caprari who is currently on loan at Pescara, Inter may have successfully reduced the €40m reported fee for a player who has scored 57 goals and provided 37 assists in 152 career appearances for Sassuolo.
Next on the wishlist for Inter is said to be 20-year-old Lorenzo Pellegrini, however Roma are said to have a buyback option for their former youth product, who signed for the Reggio Emilia outfit in a €1.25m deal back in 2015.
