He had returned for the Coppa Italia semi-final against Juve on Wednesday, which ended 3-2 for the Partenopei and still saw them knocked out 5-4 on aggregate.
However, reports suggest Reina is still struggling with that calf injury in his right leg and remains a doubt to start against Lazio tomorrow evening.
Lorenzo Tonelli and Emanuele Giaccherini are again due to miss out.
