“Milan are doing well and have a great Coach like Vincenzo Montella, so clearly we need a strong performance,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“It was not easy for the team to get into training this week considering the hammer blow of recent results, but the lads had the right attitude.”
There was some good news, as Diamanti saw his two-match ban halved on appeal and is therefore available at San Siro.
“Diamanti will start the match. We tend to take the lead, but don’t double it and that leaves it open for our opponents to come back. The reaction from the side over the last few days gives me confidence for the future.
“Nobody here has given up and if they have, then they have no place in the squad. I won’t even have them on the bench if that’s the case.
“We will play with two strikers tomorrow, just as we did with Cagliari.”
Lopez has been chopping and changing goalkeepers, so who starts between the posts: Josip Posavec or Andrea Fulignati?
“There is no hierarchy, so you’ll see who starts tomorrow.”
Alessandro Gazzi is suspended with Carlos Embalo, Stefan Silva and Slobodan Rajkovic injured.
