Gonzalo Higuain bagged a brace to give Juventus a 2-0 victory away to Pescara, extending their Serie A lead, but Paulo Dybala went off with an ankle injury.

The Bianconeri didn’t rest as many players as one would expect after a 3-0 Champions League victory over Barcelona and that could prove costly, as La Joya sprained his ankle following a particularly crunching Sulley Muntari tackle.

Higuain had the match wrapped up with two goals before half-time, one set up for him brilliantly by Juan Cuadrado, the other from Mario Mandzukic’s knock-down.
