It’s reported that the takeover of Milan has complicated the renewal of Spanish winger Suso.

The former Liverpool man has been one of the Rossoneri’s best players this season, and was expected to agree a new contract with the club.

According to Sky, there was indeed a basic agreement on a deal which would run until 2021, with Suso’s wages being raised from €1m per season to €3m.

It’s claimed that deal was agreed at Casa Milan by Adriano Galliani, with the OK of incoming CEO Marco Fassone.

However, the contract was never signed and it’s now reported that Suso and his entourage want time to evaluate the new owners of the club.

That doesn’t mean that the 23-year-old wants to leave, but at this point the renewal is delayed.
