Mancini touted for PSG role

Roberto Mancini has been touted as a possible successor to Unai Emery at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spanish Coach only took over at the Parc des Princes last summer but his future in charge of the French club appears in serious doubt after a disappointing season.

As well as their infamous 6-1 capitulation in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Barcelona, PSG are set to surrender their Ligue 1 title for the first time in five years.

As such, President Nasser Al Khelaifi is likely to wring the changes in the summer, with France Football reporting that Mancini is one of a number of names being considered to replace Emery.

The French football outlet believes that Italian Mancini would be interested by the prospect of a move to Paris, with Brazilian Leonardo potentially joining him at the club as director of football.

Mancini was most recently Coach at Inter, but left shortly before the beginning of the season owing to disagreements with the Nerazzurri board.
