Liverpool reportedly approached Roma for Mohamed Salah, but the Giallorossi are refusing to sell for less than €50m.
According to calciomercato.com, Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on the Egypt international and asked for his availability.
New Roma sporting director Monchi replied that the price-tag was €50m and could not be negotiated down.
Salah turns 25 next month and was signed from Chelsea for a total of €20m.
This season he has scored 17 goals and provided 15 assists in 39 competitive games for the club.
