Roma will reportedly announce Luciano Spalletti’s exit “in the next few hours” after the Coach informed the club he would be leaving.
According to Sky Sports, Monday’s meeting between Spalletti and Monchi “didn’t bear the fruits hoped for” by the Roma sporting director.
Consequently, official confirmation is expected from Roma this evening, ahead of a farewell Press conference for the trainer on Tuesday.
Spalletti returned to the Giallorossi in January 2016 and led them to second place in Serie A during 2015-16.
However, he was accused of mistreating Francesco Totti, who played his final game for the club on Sunday as a substitute, and appears set for the vacancy at Inter.
