Roma sporting director Monchi says Luciano Spalletti is always welcome - “Trigoria is and will be your home”.
It was officially confirmed this morning that the Coach is leaving the Giallorossi, and it’s expected that he’ll take over at Inter.
This afternoon saw Spalletti’s final Press conference, and the club’s DS also attended.
“Good morning, I wanted to open this Press conference which announces the conclusion of the relationship between the club and the boss,” Monchi said.
“A relationship which, on a personal level, was short - a month, a month and a half - but very intense.
“I already mentioned in my first Press conference, and before I came here, that I had an excellent opinion of the boss and once I worked with him and saw him coach that opinion has only multiplied, both on a personal and professional level.
“We’re closing one stage, and we thank the Coach for the results he achieved over a year and a half.
“Now a new stage starts and we’ll try to continue to grow in the only way we know how: work.
“I hope our paths can cross in the future and we can work together again. Trigoria is and will be your home.”
