Marco Verratti has reportedly agreed terms with Barcelona and must now convince Paris Saint-Germain to sell him.

According to Calciomercato.com, Verratti and his agent Donato Di Campli have reached an agreement with Barca executives, while Lionel Messi has already approved of the midfielder’s arrival.

However, the website claims the Blaugrana are not prepared to ruin their relationship with PSG over the Italian and have asked him to take matters into his own hands.

The French giants are also said to have offered Verratti a new contract worth €10m a season, in another sign that they have no intention of selling the player.

Calciomercato.com notes Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti recently called the 24-year-old in a bid to bring him to Germany, but he “only wants Barca”.
