Sampdoria are reportedly stepping up their attempts to bring Wesley Sneijder back to Serie A from Galatasaray.
The creative midfielder was part of the Treble-winning Inter side, playing in Italy from 2009 to January 2013.
According to Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia, Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero wants to tempt Sneijder into another go at the Italian top flight.
The Dutch international just turned 33 this month and his contract with Galatasaray is due to expire in 2018.
A two-year deal worth €2.5m per season is said to be on the table.
This term Sneijder scored five goals and provided 17 assists in 33 competitive games for Galatasaray.
