Joao Mario believes the time has come for Inter to “show” their quality and says new boss Luciano Spalletti has made “a good impression” on the squad.
Inter begin their International Champions Cup campaign on Friday against Schalke, and Joao Mario underlined the importance of a positive showing by the Nerazzurri in China.
“Preseason is going well. There’s a different climate in China, but we want to start our [ICC] campaign well and do the things that the Coach has asked of us,” the midfielder told Inter Channel.

“We’re starting with a new Coach and we must learn quickly. Spalletti’s made a good impression, we hope we can do well with us just like he did with Roma. We have the quality, now we have to show it.”
