“The law firms Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners and Clifford Chance, on behalf of Fingiochi and SRI Group respectively, state that the negotiations for the sale of Genoa continue,” a statement on the Grifone’s website reads.

“The parties have, however, decided by common agreement to postpone the possible definition of the documents until only after the close of the football summer transfer window, in order to favour the successful conclusion of the transfer campaign by fixing the balance sheet items with more precision and to allow the current ownership to focus on the imminent official start of the sporting season.”
