Sampdoria are said to have agreed personal terms with Davide Santon, though a deal is not yet done with Inter.
The 26-year-old full-back returned to the club from Newcastle United in February 2015, but is not part of Luciano Spalletti’s plans.
His current contract runs to June 2018, which leaves the Nerazzurri in a relatively tricky situation.
According to Il Secolo XIX newspaper in Genoa, Samp have agreed terms with Santon, but they still need to negotiate the transfer fee with Inter.
The Blucerchiati want him on loan with obligation to buy, but Inter would prefer a permanent move straight away.
Nonetheless, the report suggests an agreement should be reached within days.
