Inter would be prepared to sell Antonio Candreva to Chelsea, replacing him with Keita Balde Diao, and keeping Ivan Perisic, it’s reported.
Mediaset Premium claim this evening that the Nerazzurri have decided to part with one of their wingers, but it’s not Manchester United target Perisic.
Instead, Candreva is the man to be sacrificed, especially as his natural heir is already available on the market – Lazio’s 22-year-old Senegal international Keita.
As Keita’s contract expires in June 2018, Lazio are forced into a sale this summer, but the player has so far been holding out for Juventus.
Candreva is a prime target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who already worked with him as Coach of Italy.
The 30-year-old was signed from Lazio last summer for €22m plus bonuses.
In his maiden Inter campaign, Candreva contributed eight goals and 11 assists in 45 competitive games.
