Inter director Piero Ausilio insists Antonio Candreva and Ivan Perisic won’t leave, Jeison Murillo is a long way off Valencia and there’s “no chance” for Arturo Vidal.
The Nerazzurri chief spoke to Mediaset Premium this evening and spilled the beans on several hot transfer stories hitting the headlines.
There continue to be reports of Chelsea making a €25m offer for Candreva, while Manchester United’s interest in Perisic is well known.
“I don’t understand where some of these stories come from,” said director of sport Ausilio.
“Candreva has never been on the market and we have absolutely no intention of selling him. The same goes for Perisic, who is an important player and we are currently discussing a new contract with him.”
Inter have been linked with Bayern Munich midfielder Vidal, a former Juventus star.
“We realised straight away that it was practically impossible to get Vidal, because when Bayern don’t open the door, you’ve got no chance.”
As for rumours Murillo is on the verge of a €13m move to Valencia, that too appears to be optimistic.
“I won’t deny that Valencia have shown an interest in Murillo, but I can absolutely deny that we are close to an agreement. There’s a long way to go yet and it certainly won’t be imminent. In fact, I wouldn’t rule out Murillo staying at Inter.”
Nice full-back Dalbert is said to be flying in for a medical over the next couple of days in a €20m plus bonuses and 20 per cent sell-on fee deal.
“There are some rather important things missing, which are the signatures.”
