Paris Saint-Germain outcast Grzegorz Krychowiak “would prefer to play in Spain or Italy” rather than remain in France, revealed Nantes.

The 27-year-old midfielder was bought from Sevilla for €33.6m last summer, but did not settle or make an impact.

He is on the market and has been linked with Inter, Juventus, Milan and Fiorentina, among others.

“I wanted to sign Krychowiak, speaking to PSG and the player,” Nantes President Waldemar Kita told Sport.pl.

“He prefers to play in Spain or Italy. It’s a shame! I consider him a great professional, he has been at PSG for almost a year, but does not play regularly.

“Grzegorz has a certain level in terms of prestige and sport. PSG had told me it was going to be difficult, anyway.”
