La Repubblica claim Geoffrey Kondogbia’s agent offered him to Juventus, but Valencia seem the only real contenders for the Inter rebel.
The 24-year-old was bought from Monaco in the summer of 2015 for €36m and has fallen progressively down the pecking order at San Siro.
On Friday, he caused uproar when refusing to turn up for training, infuriating Coach Luciano Spalletti.
While Valencia confirmed they made an offer, the Nerazzurri won’t release Kondogbia for less than €30m.
It’s possible the Spaniards could include players to lower the price-tag, such as Joao Cancelo or Ezequiel Garay.
However, La Repubblica newspaper now claim that Kondogbia’s representatives contacted Juventus to ask if they were interested in making a bid.
The Bianconeri have been seeking a rugged midfielder all summer and at the moment seem closer to Paris Saint-Germain veteran Blaise Matuidi.
Other sources note Juve are trying to coax Kevin Strootman from Roma, although he has a €45m release clause in his contract.
