Bologna have officially signed former Inter striker Rodrigo Palacio as a free agent. “I was really impressed with the training facilities.”
La Trenza is 35 years old and has been in Italy since 2009, starring for Genoa before moving to Inter in 2012 until his contract expired last month.
“I am very happy to be here with you and hope we have a great season,” Palacio told the official Bologna YouTube channel.
“I don’t know the city that well, but people have spoken highly of it. I was really impressed with the training facilities and didn’t expect them to be this nice.
“I played with Mattia Destro at Genoa about seven years ago, he was very young and you could tell he was an Italian talent. Now he’s a reference point at Bologna and I hope he can score many goals.
“There are many young players and I aim to be a helpful presence in the locker room too.”
