Inter director Piero Ausilio insists they “chose to lose” Patrik Schick and Keita Balde Diao, then shrugged off a Shkodran Mustafi bid.
The Nerazzurri had been heavily linked with the two forwards, but today Sampdoria's Schick signed for Roma and Lazio winger Keita moved to Monaco.
This evening, Ausilio was interviewed by Sportitalia and asked if Inter felt aggrieved they had lost these players.
“Maybe we didn’t lose them, we just made different choices. Maybe we chose to lose them…”
He was also questioned on a new reported offer for Arsenal defender Mustafi: €5m loan and €20m option to buy.
“We are fine as we are.”
