Defender Rolando is being linked with a return to Inter from French club Marseille.
The Portuguese international previously spent a year on loan with the Nerazzurri during the 2013-14 season, during his time with Porto.
He then had another loan spell at Anderlecht prior to joining the Ligue 1 club in 2015.
However, Sportitalia now claims that the San Siro club are keen to bring the 31-year-old back to Serie A.
According to the Italian sports website, the Nerazzurri have made an enquiry into Rolando’s availability as they look to add some late defensive reinforcement to their squad.
Inter have made a promising start to the new season, winning both of their Serie A matches under new Coach Luciano Spalletti.
