Tuttomercato claim that a short while ago, the 26-year-old arrived in Genoa in order to complete the formalities of a medical ahead of his transfer.
The deal will be an outright transfer, not a loan with option to buy, with Zapata also joined by 30-year-old Croatian Strinic.
