Fiorentina have officially signed Palermo striker Simone Lo Faso on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
The 19-year-old had also been linked with Sassuolo, but the Viola surged forward last night.
His contract was deposited and it is a loan with option to buy.
Born in February 1998, Lo Faso came up through the Palermo youth academy and made 10 Serie A appearances last season.
He underwent his medical today and will then return to Rome on Sunday to join up with the Italy Under-20 squad.
