Inter will introduce a €70m release clause in Ivan Perisic’s new contract to stave off more Manchester United interest, claims Tuttosport.
The Croatia international had been a named target throughout the summer, with Jose Mourinho reportedly meeting Perisic back in March.
However, the Nerazzurri stood firm and would not lower their €55m asking price.
Now the winger is expected to sign a new contract to stay at San Siro and it could include a release clause worth at least €70m.
Perisic would earn €4.7m per year, becoming the highest-paid player at Inter behind captain Mauro Icardi.
