Paulo Dybala insists he didn’t transform Juventus against Chievo, but “we showed a lot of respect and must do the same for Barcelona.”

La Joya came off the bench to inspire a 3-0 Serie A victory, setting up Gonzalo Higuain and scoring the third himself.

“The team was already winning, it’s just that when I came on we changed system and there were more spaces to play in. We did well and deserved the victory,” Dybala told Mediaset Premium.

He was initially rested at the Juventus Allianz Arena following international duty in Argentina and to best prepare for Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Camp Nou.

“I feel good, I was a little tired from the journey, but I am happy. We must be aware that this is the first of three fundamental matches to tell us where the season will go. We showed a lot of respect for Chievo and will show a lot of respect for Barcelona too.”
