Ukraine Coach Andriy Shevchenko is excited as Napoli take on Shakhtar Donetsk tonight. “It will be great to watch.”

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), follow the build-up and action on the LIVEBLOG.

“Shakhtar are a good side with talented players. In my view the most important is Marlon, so they need to be very wary of him,” Sheva told Mediaset Premium.

“It will be great to watch, because I really admire Maurizio Sarri’s football and the way Napoli play. Shakhtar also play very good football and have several Ukraine internationals.

“I thought Viktor Kovalenko would play, but perhaps he’ll come off the bench. He’s young, very talented, but we’ll see how their defence does up against Sarri’s Napoli.”

The Italians also made a surprise change, as Arkadiusz Milik starts rather than Dries Mertens.

“Sarri is a great Coach, if he chose Milik, it’s because he is ready.”

The former Milan striker confirmed he was watching Barcelona 3-0 Juventus last night, where Leo Messi bagged a brace.

“When Messi is in that kind of form, he’s difficult to stop. Juve had a good game and did create chances, but it’s almost impossible to stop Messi on that evening.

“Gigi Buffon managed to stop him for many years, but it just wasn’t his night.”
