Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali shot down reports Coach Cristian Bucchi could be fired if results don’t improve quickly.
The Neroverdi lost tactician Eusebio Di Francesco to Roma this summer and have so far scraped only one point from four Serie A games this season.
A genuine concern is the fact they have scored only two goals, conceding eight.
“Absolutely nobody is putting up for debate the quality and worth of our Coach’s work,” Carnevali told La Gazzetta di Modena newspaper.
“Bucchi has the total faith of the club.”
This is the 40-year-old tactician’s first Serie A experience after leading Perugia to the play-offs in Serie B last season.
