‘We’ll do well to stop Dzeko’

Milan’s Mateo Musacchio admits his side will have to be at their best to stop Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnian forward already has six Serie A goals so far this season and will be in the hunt for more when the Giallorossi lock horns with the Rossoneri in today’s Serie A clash.

Speaking ahead of kick-off, defender Musacchio added that his team are aware of the importance of the match, with Coach Vincenzo Montella rumoured to be under pressure.

“It’s a nice feeling to score,” the 27-year-old said in reference to his goal against Rijeka in the Europa League.

“I was lucky to score my first goal with Milan but the most important thing was the win.

“Today is a match against a great team, we want to and we need to win.

“We have a real desire to play.

“Dzeko? It’s not just him up front, but we will all need to do well in order to contain his movement.”
