Lorenzo Insigne is in doubt for Napoli’s crucial Champions League game with Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Italian international took a knock to the knee in the win over Milan on Saturday night, meaning he may not be able to start in tonight’s must-win match.

The Partenopei have to beat Shakhtar by any scoreline that leaves them at least level on head-to-head to have any chance of making the Last 16.

However, following this morning’s training session both Sky and Premium Sport report that Insigne was struggling, and there isn’t much confidence he’ll be able to play tonight.

Emanuele Giaccherini or Adam Ounas would be the logical replacements, but Tuttomercatoweb believes Piotr Zielinski is also in contention to play on the left of the attack.
