Gonzalo Higuain is increasingly likely to be risked from the start as Juventus take on his former club Napoli on Friday night.
It kicks off at 19.45 GMT, click here for a match preview.
Higuain was going to be rested, or at least left on the bench to begin with, as he only underwent surgery to stabilise a fractured finger on Monday.
However, Mario Mandzukic pulled out with a muscular problem in training and hasn’t even made the trip to the Stadio San Paolo.
This made it seem as if Paulo Dybala would be used as a False 9 in a 3-4-3 formation, flanked by Douglas Costa and Juan Cuadrado.
However, reports from Naples suggest Higuain is determined to play from the start with the aid of a protective cast on his hand.
Sky Sport Italia are confident Max Allegri will risk Pipita at the head of a 3-4-2-1 system, supported by Dybala and Douglas Costa.
Benedikt Howedes is also out with yet another muscular injury, having made only one appearance in a Bianconeri jersey.
