Mauro Icardi’s wife, Wanda Nara, hit back at Diego Maradona for claiming she harassed Argentina into calling him up. “He needs an anti-doping test.”
Napoli legend Maradona was in Russia for the 2018 World Cup draw yesterday when commenting to reporters that Argentina have “never played so badly” as they are right now.
He also suggested that Coach Jorge Sampaoli only called up Inter hitman Icardi because wife – and agent – Wanda was pestering him with phone calls.

Wanda replied via social media with a message on Twitter.
“I’d recommend an anti-doping test in such important events, as there are always people whose minds are fogged up and they try to ruin things with inventions.
“It’s an obsession he has with us.”
Maradona had famously said that in his day Icardi would’ve been “given a kicking” in the locker room for marrying the ex-wife of a teammate, in this case Maxi Lopez.
