Inter defender Miranda acknowledges “there’s a lot of excitement” about being top of Serie A, and says he leads by example rather than shouting.
The Nerazzurri thrashed Chievo 5-0 at the weekend, and with Juventus beating Napoli at the San Paolo it allowed Luciano Spalletti’s side to go top of the table.
“There’s a lot of excitement,” Miranda told FCInterNews as he attended the club’s Christmas Cheers event in Milan.
“We have to show we’re a strong group. Leaders don’t need to scream and shout on the pitch, you have to motivate by your example.”
The 33-year-old has played in 14 of the Beneamata’s 15 Serie A matches so far this season.
