Feyenoord are propping up the group without a single point so far, but Insigne has joined Faouzi Ghoulam and Arkadiusz Milik on the absentee list.

This is the first time in 60 competitive Napoli games that Insigne hasn’t been in the starting XI, so it’s a mystery how they will perform, especially just days after suffering their first Serie A defeat of the campaign against Juventus.

Zielinski is moved from midfield to wide left in place of Insigne, with Christian Maggio at right-back shuffling Elseid Hysaj to the left.

It’s a familiar stadium for Dries Mertens, who played against Feyenoord when he was at PSV Eindhoven. The last time he was in the De Kuip, the Belgian had two teeth knocked out during an accidental collision.

Feyenoord have lost all five matches so far and don’t want to finish in front of the home fans without a single point.

There are some issues to deal with, as Jan-Arie van der Heijden, Eric Botteghin, Ridgeciano Haps and Karim El Ahmadi are out of action, while a late addition to their absentee list is left-back Miquel Nelom.
