Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici confirms they have made an offer for Milan defender Gustavo Gomez and “await a response.”
The 24-year-old Paraguay international can play at centre-back, on the right or the left of the defence.
He was signed from Lanus in the summer of 2016 for €8.5m, but made very little impact and this season played only for 10 minutes in the Europa League.
“He is a player that our coaching staff likes a great deal and we spoke to his agent, who is currently in Europe,” Boca chief Angelici told La Nacion newspaper.
“We await a formal response from Milan on Tuesday or Wednesday.”
