Massimo Oddo was critical of his Udinese team despite this afternoon’s 2-0 win over Benevento.
Goals by Antonin Barak and Kevin Lasagna gave the Bianconeri their second successive victory and third in five matches.
However, their Coach admits there are is still much room for improvement in his side’s play.
“The defensive side of the game should be our starting point and we are glad we didn’t concede,” the former Pescara boss began.
“We are solid, compact, but clearly there are also negative aspects of our game.
“Today, we didn’t play a fantastic game and we had some problems. I always say to the boys that they need to manage the ball better because they are too frantic.
“We need a mentality change, it’s the most difficult step to take.
“Hopefully the points we are getting will allow us to have more tranquillity.”
