Zenga: Won't repeat Catania 'mistake'

Walter Zenga has suggested that he will not abandon Crotone after his Catania ’mistake‘. “Whenever I follow money, I always mess up.”

Zenga kept Catania in Serie A for two seasons between 2008 and 2009 but would leave them for fellow Sicilians Palermo, who sacked the Coach just six months into his tenure.

“I had a good year and a half at Catania. It was mistake was to leave,” the former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss told Sky Sport Italia.

“I should’ve stayed there because they went on to have so many good Coaches, like [Chievo boss Rolando] Maran.

“I was too quick to go for important positions. Whenever I follow money, I mess up.”
