Lazio are reportedly preparing a January swoop for Verona defender Martin Caceres.
According to Corriere della Sera, Lazio believe Caceres can tighten up their defence, which has conceded 22 goals in Serie A – eight more than the second-leakiest backline in the top five.
The 30-year-old has rebuilt his career with the Gialloblu after barely turning out for Southampton last season, but his contract has little over six months left to run.
