Khouma Babacar scored the winner for Fiorentina against Cagliari tonight, but is “not happy with the fact I’ve not started a game.”
The Senegalese striker came off the bench to score his fourth goal as a substitute this season, sealing a 1-0 result at the Sardegna Arena.
“It is complicated when you don’t play often and I am not happy with the fact I’ve not started a game this season,” Babacar told Sky Sport Italia.
“I must remain concentrated and keep working. The Coach told me to continue along this path and I must do everything to earn my right to play.
“It’s up to the Coach. I have to train and wait for the day that I’ll be chosen.
“It was important to win this evening and it won’t be easy to qualify for Europe, but we’re taking it one game at a time.”
