Simone Verdi’s agent insists his client will stay at Bologna despite “interest from big clubs”.
The forward has been linked with both Inter and Napoli, but he won’t be leaving the Rossoblu in January.
“The lad’s intention is to stay in Emilia,” Donato Orgnoni insisted, speaking to Il Resto del Carlino.
“We’ll stay, we won’t move from here. The decision has been made and we won’t take it back.
“Simone is establishing himself, he’s found the ideal environment in Bologna, and he thinks he can do even better so he’s determined not to upset that balance.
“I’m disappointed by the speculation and the declarations of certain people, we’ve firmly declared our intentions.
“The interest from big clubs is true, and it’s reached us too, but we’ve put it aside because Bologna come first and our intentions are clear.”
